For repeat attendees at Professional Builder Level 5 or higher, this stream focuses on developing world-class leadership skills. It covers enhancing influence, emotional resilience, productivity, goal-setting, and managing stress.

Welcome Dinner

After checking in and finding your bearings, spend the evening hanging out at dinner with the owners of other professional building companies.

You can swap war stories about how your building company has survived the economic turmoil that has embroiled the industry and still stayed booked out in advance and increased your margins. All in preparation for a productive two days of working on your business and its future.

Extensive Workshop Day 1

On Thursday, you'll break into your respective streams and join forces with APB's Executive Business Coaches, to work on your building company and your own personal growth.

This is an intensive full-day workshop, with breaks for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

Andy is our Head Coach here at APB.

He leads our team of four executive business coaches while also working exclusively with a selection of residential building companies that are looking to fast-track their results.

Andy is an ex-attorney/solicitor who made the transition from law into business over 30 years ago. He has owned and led businesses in South Africa, the United States, South-East Asia, and Australia.

Thank you so much for all the learning and fun we had together. I loved learning about all your different strategies and tactics, and can't wait to put some of those into action. You all blew me away with your creativity, intelligence, and overall awesomeness.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER APB EVENTS?

APB runs regular events in cities all over the world that provide networking and learning opportunities for professional builders. However, this is an exclusive retreat limited to only 24 of APB's most aspirational and best-performing members to create a long-term strategic plan and exit strategy for their building company.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE APB ANNUAL RETREAT?

This event is for the owners and directors of custom home-building companies that want to create a long-term strategic plan and exit strategy for their building company. It is not for commercial builders, developers, tradies, handymen, or subcontractors.

DO TICKETS INCLUDE FLIGHTS?

Unfortunately, tickets don’t include flights. However, they do include 3 nights of accommodation, food, and a 5-star experience at one of Mexico's most sought-after resorts.

WHO IS SPEAKING AT THE EVENT?

You'll have an intimate workshop over 2-days with the co-founders of The Association of Professional Builders, Russ Stephens and Sky Kolade, and two of APB's Executive Business Coaches, including our Head Coach, Andy Skarda.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The price is USD$9,997+GST for two people (no GST for building companies outside of Australia). To secure your place you just need to pay a USD$1,000 deposit.

CAN I BRING MY TEAM/ FAMILY?

Your ticket purchase includes two guests. Who you bring is up to you, however, it's not common for team members to attend as this is a strategic planning workshop for the owners of building companies. The Marquis Los Cabos is an adults-only venue, so no children will be permitted at this year's event.
